I became an Amsoil Dealer on November 3, 1975. When introduced, I told my wife Dorothy that “this is a winner!” I could see the future of synthetics as the lubricant of the future for all machinery and that I wanted to be a part of it. Believe me, it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has solidified me financially and made my life more joyful. By using my “three foot rule” we have developed and built a business that provides financial security not only for my lifetime but also for the security of my children and grandchildren. Of course, my three foot rule can be used by anyone. It is…use all the products and share them with anyone within three feet of you. When Amsoil developed their lubricants, the oil started immediately as a 25,000/or one year drain interval oil, which was unheard of at that time. It required a lot of convincing and hard work to educate equipment owners that this would really be safe and increase their efficie ncy. Now, even the major oil companies are turning to synthetics and extended drain periods. The future of Amsoil has exploded and will continue to do so.
